📖 How to play
- Swipe — or use the arrow keys — to slide all tiles one direction.
- Two tiles with the same number merge into one of double the value.
- A new tile appears after every move; the game ends when no moves are left.
- Reach the 2048 tile, and keep going for an even higher score.
🏆 How scoring works
- 🗓️ Daily board — a fresh challenge each day, the same for every player. Fixed puzzles (Queens, Sudoku, Nonogram…) count your first solve of the day; endless games like 2048 & Block Puzzle count your best across unlimited tries.
- 📅 Weekly XP — every game earns XP for playing and for skill. Your total XP across all games each week sets your overall rank, and the weekly top 10 win 💎 gems.
- 💎 Gems — also earned from daily play and streak milestones. Spend them in the Gem Store.
- 🎲 Practice — replay / practice rounds are just for fun and never count on the leaderboard.

2048 is a quick number-merge puzzle. Slide the tiles around the board; when two tiles with the same number touch, they merge into one. Keep merging to build a 2048 tile and chase the highest score. On Playground by AGLASEM the board is the same for every student each day, so the leaderboard is a fair contest.

Is the board the same for everyone?
Yes. The daily board is seeded so every player gets the identical sequence of tiles that day, which keeps the leaderboard fair.
Do I need an account to play?
No — you can play freely. Logging in (or being already signed in to AGLASEM) saves your score, streak and XP, and puts you on the leaderboard.
How is my score calculated?
Your score is the total value of all the tiles you merge. Your best score each day counts towards the daily and weekly leaderboards.
