ℹ️ About Colour Clash

Colour Clash is based on the classic Stroop test used by psychologists to measure focus. A colour word appears on screen, but it is printed in a different colour — the word RED might be printed in blue. Your job is to tap the colour of the ink, ignoring what the word says. Your brain wants to read the word, so staying with the colour takes real concentration and gets harder as you speed up. It is a quick, addictive workout for attention and reaction time.

❓ FAQs

What is the Stroop effect?

It is the delay your brain feels when a colour word is printed in a different colour. Reading is automatic, so it fights with naming the ink colour — that conflict is what makes the game tricky.

Do I tap the word or the colour?

Always the colour of the ink, never the word. If the word BLUE is printed in red, the answer is red.

Are the colours the same for everyone?

Yes, the daily set is drawn from the same seed for every player. Play again gives a fresh random set for unranked practice.
